2022 Gigondas, Domaine du Clos des Tourelles, Famille Perrin, Rhone

Concentrated on the nose with a floral cherry lift, the Clos des Tourelles is really impressive in 2022. Blue fruit and dried herbs linger on the palate whilst the texture is rounded and supple. A fine complexity is adorned by layers of flavour, confirming its old vine gravitas, and the wine is perfectly poised ahead of the delightfully floral, raspberry chocolate finish.
