Rioja fans amongst us (and I am definitely in this camp) will no doubt be familiar with the names of La Rioja Alta and Muga. They are two of the great names of Rioja, traditional bodegas that surround the town of Haro, La Rioja’s wine capital in the north west of the region. Both craft classic Tempranillo dominated examples that highlight both the quality and value that can be achieved from this fantastic terroir.
